Police have arrested two persons in connection with the murder of a man in Moti Nagar in March.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Sanjeev Kumar Yadav said the duo -- Rafiullah (29) and Lakhvinder (27) -- were arrested from Uttam Nagar yesterday.
Lakhvinder is a member of the Naveen Kahti gang which operates in Najafgarh in southwest Delhi, he said.
They were involved in the killing of Pappu Gupta on the intervening night of March 27 and 28, he said.
In 2009 Gupta and Lakhvinder had a fight over control of an area, after which Lakhvinder was arrested.
He was released from jail around 3-4 months ago.
On the intervening night of March 27 and 28, Lakhvinder had a fight with someone when Gupta intervened.

This infuriated Lakhvinder, who in order to avenge the 2009 incident, barged into Gupta's house in Rakhi Market, Zakhira and attacked him with baseball bats and sticks, along with Rafiullah and another accomplice, said the police officer.
They brutally assaulted Gupta, his wife Sunita and son Naveen. Gupta succumbed to injuries later.
Police claimed during interrogation Rafiullah had told them that while he was lodged in jail, he came in contact with Naveen Khati of Najafgarh and in 2015 he, along with other members of the Naveen Khati gang, stabbed another inmate Ravinder alias Tarzan.
Ravinder was a member of the Manjeet Mahaal gang and was involved in the kidnapping and murder of four members of the Naveen Khati gang in 2014-15, the officer said.
