"Sukhu and Surendra, both in mid 20s, died due to suspected food poisoning," Circle Officer Pramod Kumar Yadav said, adding that they had consumed liquor and ate chicken yesterday.
Soon after the meal they fell ill and started vomiting, he said, adding that their family members rushed them to a nearby hospital where Sukhu and Surendra were declared brought dead.
The other two are undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Mughalsarai, Yadav said.
Police are also probing whether the hooch was adulterated, the CO said.
