The accused - Rajendra Bairagi and Ganesh Palve, working in a primary health centre demanded Rs 4,000 from a complainant to provide him no objection certificate (NOC) to convert his agriculture land at Chincholi village into non-agriculture, an ACB release said.
The complainant approached the ACB following which a trap was laid and the accused were caught while accepting the bribe in PHC premises, it added.
As per the release, if land is to be converted non-agriculture land, the owner is required to submit NOC of various department, including the health department.
