accomplice were arrested for their alleged involvement in the murder of a shop vendor in north-west Delhi, police said today.
Vinod and the juvenile were arrested recently for murdering Vinod Kumar Sikri after he resisted their robbery attempt.
Sikri was found in a pool of blood at Gandhi Vihar in north-west Delhi on July 27 when he was returning from his shop to home.
After investigations, police zeroed-in on Vinod who disclosed that recently he and his accomplice had visited Haridwar to bring 'kanwad' for which they have borrowed money and in order to repay they needed money.
"Both of them robbed the cyclist at knife-point but when the victim resisted, he was stabbed and both ran away from the spot," a senior police official said.
