2 held on graft charges

The superintendent of a government ITI and a junior scientific officer of Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board were today arrested for allegedly accepting bribe in two separate cases in Rajasthan.
Prem Chand Yadav, Superintendent of Industrial Training Institute in Sri Ganganagar had allegedly demanded the bribe of Rs 25,000 from a private college owner Naresh Chand for submitting a favourable report of the inspection, carried out by him, to the government.
The deal was settled at Rs 15,000 and the accused was held while he was allegedly accepting the bribe, IG (ACB) Smita Srivastava said.
In Rajasthan Pollution Control Board's regional office in Bikaner, JSO Pawan Kumar was caught while allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 4,000 from a person for issuing him NOC for his cattle feed factory located in Hanumangarh, she said.
Both have been arrested under Prevention of Corruption Act.
