Two houses were badly damaged when 14 gas cylinders kept in a house exploded here, police said today.
The incident occurred this afternoon in Adarsh Nagar colony here.
According to Circle Officer (City) Mahavir Singh, a hawker of a gas agency was living in the house where the cylinder exploded. The habitants of the locality complained that the house was being used for black marketing.
An investigation was in progress and a case will be registered against the accused hawker, Singh said.
