Dr Hemantha Benaragama of the Drugs Regulatory Authority of Sri Lanka said the cancellation of the registration followed a visit to India by local officials for inspection of the two firms.
"We found that the manufacturing standards were not upto the mark," Benaragama said.
Last year Sri Lanka blacklisted several errant Indian drug suppliers who had either supplied sub standards drugs or failed to meet tender conditions.
Indian medical suppliers account for around 85 per cent of Sri Lanka's medicinal imports.
