The incident took place this afternoon when the custodians of a cash van were in the process of refilling money into an ATM of HDFC bank in Babuganj locality, they said.
Some armed assailants arrived there and started firing at them killing two persons and injuring one, police said.
The injured was rushed to the nearby trauma centre where his condition is stated to be stable, they said.
Police are trying to get the CCTV footages.
The exact amount of looted cash is not confirmed yet, police said.
