2 killed, 17 injured as 2 Haryana roadways buses collide

Two passengers were today killed and 17 others injured when two buses of Haryana Roadways collided head-on at Ambala-Hisar Highway near Jansui village, about 20 km from here, police said.
Four of the critically injured have been referred to PGIMER at Chandigarh, they said.
The other injured passengers were admitted in civil hospital here. The drivers of both the buses were also received injuries.
One of the buses was on its way from Chandigarh to Sirsa while the other was going to Chandigarh from Kaithal.
The deceased are identified as 25-year-old Kiran, a resident of Panchkula and Manoj, a resident of Ellenabad and an employee of municipal committee.
A case has been registered in this connection and investigation in the case is underway, police said.
