Two men were killed and six others injured today after a collision on National Highway 113 in Rajasthan's Pratapgarh district involving a car and five motorcycles, police said.
The incident took place at Chena Ghati when the driver of the car lost control over the vehicle and collided with motorcyclists who were on their way to Ramdevra village in Jaisalmer district, SHO, Dhamotar police station, Shambhu Singh said.
The car was going to Pratapgarh from Choti Sadri, he added.
Shambhu said the vehicle after hitting the motorcyclists dashed into a tree and overturned.
He said the deceased were identified as Shivlal Nagari and Kanhaiya Lal, both aged 24.
Their bodies were handed over to family members after post-mortem, the SHO added.

The Injured were referred to Udaipur for treatment from a government hospital in Pratapgarh, he said.
Shambhu said efforts were on to nab the car driver who fled the accident scene.
