2 killed as SUV falls in gorge in J-K

Two persons were killed when the SUV they were traveling in skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge in the Reasi district, police said today.
The speeding Tata sumo SUV yesterday skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge at Darikh Morh village in Gota area of the district yesterday, a police officer said.
While Chamail Singh (26) driver of the SUV died on the spot, the passenger Kashmir Singh (22) succumbed to his injuries on the way to a hospital, he said.
A case has been registered and investigation was initiated in the matter.

The bodies were handed over to the relatives of victims after completing all legal and medical formalities, the officer said.
