2 killed as train hits tractor at unmanned crossing

Two persons were killed today when their tractor was hit by a passenger train at an unmanned railway crossing in Jamuna Paar area of the district.
The accident occurred when tractor driver tried to cross the unmanned crossing as he had not seen the passenger train, a senior police officer said.
"The train came to a halt after the accident. Its engine developed some problem and the train was delayed for two hours," Senior Superintendent of Police Gulab Singh said.
