Rescuers are searching for six sailors of a fishing boat which sank in the waters off east China's Zhejiang Province, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
The vessel, with 11 people on aboard, sank around near Shulanghu island, administered by Zhoushan City, it said.
Five people have been rescued.
Another vessel sank after hitting a rock in the waters off Zhangzhou City in east China's Fujian Province. Two sailors were killed and two others went missing.
Air rescuers are searching for the two missing people, the report said.
