2 killed in firing in Barnala

Two persons were killed today when two groups clashed and opened fire on each other over the possession of Dera land at Tapa Mandi here, police said today.
Those killed have been identified as Laxmi Narayan and Gopal Ram, Barnala SP (Detective) Swarn Singh said.
Supporters of Rameshwar Dass group today allegedly opened fire over the rival Gopal Dass group this morning over the possession of 125 acres of land of Dera Parmanand here, police said.
At present, Gopal Dass group was controlling the Dera, they added.
A case has been registered and probe is on, police said.
