2 killed in lightning strikes in Odisha

A teacher and a student were killed and 33 students injured when lightning struck a primary school in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district today.
Lightning struck Rangiam Primary School at Rasgobindpur at noon when the children were inside their classes, Sub- Divisional Police Officer, Betanati, Dhiren Chandra Nanda said.
Injured were rushed to a hospital.
In another incident in the same district, three women agricultural workers were injured after they were struck by lighting at Surukuna village. They were admitted at the community health centre at Khunta, police said.
