2 men rape nursing student in UP

A 22-year-old nursing student was allegedly raped by a man and his friend who also filmed the act here, police said today.
Meanwhile, police are suspecting that Bhura and the victim girl were having a love affair, they said.
The victim's brother complained that one Bhura Singh from their village and his friend Saurabh Singh raped his sister on December 26, SP (Rural) Surendra Tiwari said.
The victim, a nursing student at medical college here and stays in Kalyanpuri area, was called by the accused Bhura to his residence on the pretext of giving money her father had sent, he said.

The accused offered her food laced with sedative and then along with his friend raped her. They also allegedly filmed the act on a mobile phone, Tiwari said.
Following the incident, the woman informed her family about it and administered some medicine on her own. She was then rushed to a hospital with deteriorating health conditions, the SP said.
During investigation, police claimed it was revealed that the victim girl and Bhura were having a love affair.
An FIR has been registered against the accused duo who are absconding, police said, adding that an investigation is underway in the matter.
