Arun Chaturvedi, who was holding Independent Charge of Social Justice and Empowerment department as a Minister of State (MoS) was sworn in as Cabinet Minister.
Another MoS, Hemsingh Bhadana, looking after Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs department was also sworn in as Cabinet minister immediately after Chaturvedi.
Governor Kalyan Singh administered oath of office to the two ministers at a special swearing-in ceremony at Raj Bhawan here.
Today's exercise came a day after the first cabinet expansion of the ten-month old Vasundhara Raje government in which 15 new faces were inducted in her council of ministers raising the size of her ministry to 27.
With their elevation, Raje government now has 15 Cabinet, seven MoS with Independent Charge and five MoS.
Sanwar Lal Jat continues to remain a member of the Rajasthan Cabinet though he was elected to Lok Sabha from Ajmer in May.
