The persons, identified as Dharmendra (24) and Kanhiya Lal (25), residents of Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh, were carrying the cash without any relevant documents, they said.
The duo was proceeding to Jaipur in the car, when they were intercepted on the Mega Highway, police said.
The car and cash were seized under section 102 (power of police officer to seize certain property) of the CrPC while the accused have been arrested under section 151 (arrest to prevent the commission of cognizable offences) of the CrPC, they said.
