2 poachers killed in gunbattle in Kaziranga

Two poachers were killed in an encounter with security forces at Burhapahar range of Kaziranga National Park in Assam this evening, forest department sources said.
A group of five poachers exchanged fire with the joint security team of forest guards, Special Task Force and Police.
Two of them were killed in the encounter, the sources said, adding three others managed to flee.
One 3.3 rifle and one AK 47, both with magazines, were recovered from the spot. Search is on to nab the trio.
