Lokayukta Inspector KK Agrawal said that the arrest late last night had occurred following a complaint last evening against the duo -- Deputy Commissioner HS Thakur and Assistant Commissioner Jalaj Rawat -- by one Suresh Yadav.
Sharing the details of the case, the inspector said that Yadav in his complaint had mentioned that he had started a peppermint business in Chhattarpur district some months ago.
"However, Thakur and Rawat began to trouble him and sought a monthly cut (bribe) of Rs 3 lakh from him," added Agrawal.
