Rajesh Pasi (40) and Bhaiyan (45) were on the way to Manauri bazar under Charwa police station area on their motorcycle when four assailants on two motor bikes opened fire on them, police said.
The duo died on the spot, they said adding infuriated over the incident, locals staged a sit in placing the bodies on the road and senior police officials somehow managed to pacify them and clear the road.
A case has been registered and investigations are on, police added.
