2 teenaged girls drown

Two teenaged girls today drowned
after falling into an inundated ditch on the banks of the Yamuna near Vrindavan, police said.
According to police, three teenaged girls, identified as Krishna (18), Gita (14) and (Kamlesh, 15), were on their way to river bank farm fields when they fell into a deep ditch full of water.
Their cries for help attracted people nearby to their rescue who, however, only managed to save Kamlesh.
In another mishap, a 10-year-old boy, identified as one Pawan, drowned in Gokul barrage while taking a bath in the morning today.
