The deceased have been identified as Vineet (16) and Ashok (15) who had gone to the spot along with ten to twelve youth to collect clay.
As they were digging wet clay in the bottom of a ditch, its upper portion crashed on them in which six youths were buried. Their friends then rushed to the main road and called for help.
"We got a call about the incident at around 1:30 PM, following which a team was rushed to the spot which, along with locals, rescued four of the youths. The other two teenagers were unconscious when they were pulled out of the rubble and were brought dead at Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital," said a police official.
