2 thieves arrested in Sarita Vihar

Police have arrested two thieves, wanted in several cases, from Sarita Vihar area.
Police said the arrested have been identified as Pramod Kumar and Ravi Sehdev. One of them is also accused of stabbing a constable with a knife.
"We received a tip-off that three thieves were fleeing on a motorbike in Aali Jungle area. Acting on the information, a team of police was deployed to nab the criminals. As police personnel tried to nab them, Pramod stabbed constable Udham Singh with a knife," DCP (Southeast) P Karunakaran said.
"The police later arrested two accused while the third one fled from the spot. The third accused, Rahul, is still at large," the DCP added.
On further interrogation police found out that the gang used to operate in New Friends Colony, Badarpur and Sarita Vihar areas. Police have recovered six mobile phones and a laptop from them.
