The tigers were caught after being tranquilised by a team led by Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (Wildlife) Narendra Kumar yesterday, an official release said today.
A decision will be taken soon on the future of the two caged tigers, a forest official said.
One of the tigers had on October 24 mauled to death a government school teacher near Karchuliha village in Panpatha buffer area of the tiger reserve following which the villagers staged a violent protest and damaged property of the forest department.
Police have registered a case in this regard and initiated action against those involved in the violence, the release added.
