Two Uzbek nationals were apprehended at the IGI airport here after they gained entry into the terminal by allegedly using forged tickets.
A senior official said the incident occurred yesterday when CISF personnel detected suspicious activities of the two men in the Terminal-III area of the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport.
When the two -- identified as Uzbekistan nationals Sardor Sayfullaev and Sherzod Ummatov -- were questioned, the official said, they told the Central Industrial Security Force personnel that they entered the airport using edited and forged tickets to see off some friends travelling to Tashkent.
The duo were handed over to the police who arrested them under various sections of forgery and cheating under the IPC.
