2 woman accuse Inspector of cheating after marriage promise

Two women have accused a police inspector here of having cheated them after assuring to marry them, prompting the officials to order a departmental inquiry against him.
One of the women today lodged a complaint with police alleging that the inspector had promised to marry her but went back on it after making her pregnant.
She later fainted and had been admitted to a government hospital here, Police Commissioner Shylesh Kumar Yadav said today.
The woman was under the 'control' of the Inspector after she had left her home with her lover some months ago.
Another woman from solaialagupuram had also given a separate complaint against the Inspector accusing him of cheating her.

Deputy Commissioner Samant Rohan Rajendra said the complaints against the Inspector were under investigation and action would be taken against him, if found guilty.
