The two women, Pawan Thai and Pandiyan Indrani, hailing from Tamil Nadu, were arrested last night on the charge of possessing 24 kg ganja, Circle Inspector M D Umar said.
"Acting on a tip-off, police apprehended the duo when they were going to Pithapuram railway station from Tuni with the contraband they bought form Agency area in Visakhapatnam," the Circle Inspector said.
Following the seizure, the two women were arrested, Umar added.
