2 women sustain burn injuries

Two women sustained serious burn injuries when a LPG cylinder exploded at a house in Machaki Khurd village in this district, the police said.
The injured were identified as Kuldeep Kaur (18) and Parmeet Kaur (35), they added.
The incident took place when one of the women tried to light a gas stove. An explosion took place as the gas was leaking, the police said.
They injured have been referred to a hospital in Ludhiana, they said.
