2 workers injured after steam from milk boiler spills on them

Two workers of the Tirunelveli unit of Aavin (Cooperative Milk Producers' Union) were today injured when hot steam spewed from a boiler of the milk processing unit here, police said.
The incident occurred when the milk, brought from the Tuticorin and Kanyakumari units, was being pasteurised, they said.
The workers, who suffered external injuries, have been admitted to the Medical College Hospital here for treatment and are stated to be out of danger, they said.
The reason for the spillage is under investigation, police said.
