According to police, they had robbed more than half a dozen luxury cars and also looted high-end mobile phones of the occupants after beating them at night, in the first week of this month, in outer, west and northwest districts of Delhi.
In all the cases, police had learnt that one of the accused wore a turban, which later turned out to be one of the apprehended juveniles, they said, adding they got the idea of robbing cars while playing video games.
Elaborating their modus operandi, he said they used to follow the car closely and at a convenient place, they deliberately hit the target car with theirs, thereby compelling it to stop.
"They used to move in robbed cars, with tinted window glasses, to avoid getting noticed from outside," he said.

During interrogation, Shokeen confessed that in the last few days, he along with three others had committed several robberies to make quick and easy money to lead a lavish lifestyle.
Following interrogation, a car was recovered from Mangolpuri area and another from the parking of Gurudwara at Majnu ka Tila.
Later, his associate Deepak alias Changa (27) was also arrested from near Rohini Sector-18 metro station and one of the robbed vehicle was recovered from him.
In one of the incident on February 9, the gang robbed a car and mercilessly beat its owner with a baseball bat due to which he sustained serious head injuries.
"He was declared unfit for statement by the doctors. He is currently battling for life in Sant Parmanand Hospital. The baseball bat used in inflicting injuries to the owner has been recovered," said Yadav.
