2 youths drown in temple pond in UP

Two youths today allegedly drowned while taking bath in a pond in the premises of Kushumbhi Devi temple in Ajgain area here, police said.
Pradeep (19), Abad Shukla (18) and Ravi (18), all three residents of Lucknow, had gone to the temple to pay obeisance but slipped in deep water while taking bath in the pond, they said.
While Ravi was saved by the locals, the other two drowned in the accident, they said.
Their bodies were later fished out by the police, they added.
