Gopi alias Gurpreet Singh, a resident of Ridhi in Sidhi Nagar area of Kota city, drowned while taking a bathe and fell into the deep waters of the dam, a popular picnic spot of the area, SHO, Talera police station, Bhagwati Prasad said.
The body was recovered late in the evening about 20 meters away from the spot after a joint rescue operation by police and Kota Municipal Corporation, and was handed over to his family members after they refused for a postmortem of the deceased, he added.
