204 recruits pass out from Guards Regimental Centre

About 204 recruits of the 106th course of the Guards Regimental Centre, Kamptee, near here presented an impressive passing-out-parade at the valediction ceremony today.
These recruits attained the status of a combat soldier at the impressive, but solemn passing-out-parade at the Brigade of the Guards Regimental Centre.
These guardsmen earned their status after challenging and strenuous training of thirty four weeks. They were administered the oath of allegiance and devotion to duty by the Adjutant.
Medals were presented to outstanding guardsmen in various disciplines of training. The coveted Overall Best Recruit Trophy was awarded to Recruit Rajesh Kumar Yadav of Chandragupt Training Company.

Brigadier DV Singh, Commandant, Guards Regimental Centre reviewed the parade. Brigadier D V Singh took over as Commandant of the Guards Regimental Centre in December 2014 and also performs the responsibilities of Station Commander, Kamptee as well as President Cantonment Board, Kamptee, a release from Defence PRO, said, here today.
