Some of the senior police officers selected include Amit Kumar, Sunil Gupta, Virendar Kumar Bali, Mohammad Shafi Mir, Abdul Qayoom, Sanjeev Khajuria and Mohan Lal, a police spokesperson said.
Deputy SPs Farida Mir, Ravinder Paul Singh, Khalid Amin, Showkat Ahmad, Ajaz Ahmed Zargar, Mohd Saleem Mir, Farooq Ahmad, Bashir Ahmad, Mushtaq Ahmad, Mushtaq Ahmad Dar, Dushyant Sharma, V K Jamwal and Rajinder Singh will also receive the award.
