At least 21 terrorists were killed and several others injured after Pakistani fighter jets pounded their hideouts in the country's restive north west province bordering Afghanistan.
Fighter jets pounded terrorists' hideouts in Rajgal and Tirah valley in Khyber Agency close to Pakistan-Afghan border last night, killing at least 21 terrorists and injuring several others, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Four militant hideouts were also destroyed in the air raid, the statement said.
The Pakistan military intensified its 'Zarb-e-azab' offensive launched in June last year in militants' stronghold of North Waziristan, after the deadly Taliban attack in an army-run school in Peshawar in which 150 people, including 136 students, were killed.
Army claims that more than 1,600 militants have been killed in the operation.
