23-year-old man beaten to death

A man was allegedly beaten to death by six men over an old rivalry, police said today.
Police spokesperson said the victim, identified as 23-year-old Sumit, was a resident of Sushola village and he was beaten up yesterday using rods and sticks.
Police said a complaint was lodged by the brother of the victim against six accused, Tezveer, Sandeep, Sushil, Vijay, Vir Singh and Man Singh.
The victim was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead, police said, adding, the investigations are on.
In another incident, a driver was robbed and murdered by unidentified miscreants yesterday.
The victim, Rammurat was dropping his passengers at Sector 21-C, Bharat Petroleum society when he was murdered and his car robbed, police said.
A case has been registered against unidentified persons.
In a third incident, a youth was robbed by four men in a car, police said.
The victim, a resident of Baghola Palwal, had taken a ride with four men in an Innova car, who robbed him of Rs 500 and an ATM card later and dumped him in nearby jungle.
