"Tripura remained so backward, though the Marxists are ruling the state for 24 years. They have no success in healthcare, education and employment of the youth," the Union minister of state for women empowerment and minority welfare told a press conference.
Winds of change are blowing in the state, he said adding that BJP would form the next government in Tripura.
The Union minister alleged that the law and order had collapsed in the state and common people, especially women, have no security.
Kumar, BJP MP from Tikamgarh in Madhya Pradesh, reviewed activities of minority affairs with state government officials in the Civil Secretariat yesterday.
