"We have seized 243.6 kgs of Heroin along with fake Indian currencies, arms and other drugs till now," BSF IG (rpt) IG of Punjab Frontier Ajay Kumar Tomar said.
"The increase in smuggling can be gauged from the fact that 322 kgs of the drug was seized last year, whereas this year the figure has gone to 244 kgs in the first four months," he said.
Apart from fake currency worth of Rs 4 lakh, 12 arms, 20 magazines and opium has also been confiscated from the border. Three infiltrators and three smugglers have been killed, he said.
