245 services approved for e-SLA

Delhi Lt Governor Najeeb Jung has approved the addition of 245 services of different departments, local bodies and autonomous bodies to the Electronic Service Level Agreement (e-SLA) under Right of Citizen to Time-Bound Delivery of Services Act, 2011.
Earlier, 116 services of 23 departments were existing in the list of services alongwith the competent authority available at https://bsmedia.business-standard.comesla.Delhi.Gov.In, said Chief Secretary SK Srivastava.
"More 245 services will be added to the schedule appended to the Delhi (Right of Citizen to Time Bound Delivery of Services) Act, 2011. List of services will be effective from the date of notification.
"Citizens are advised to take unique number from the counter while submitting application," said Srivastava.
Under Delhi (Right of Citizen to Time Bound Delivery of Services) Act, 2011, every citizen has the right to obtain these notified Services in Delhi within a time bound period (Sec 3 of the Act).
Further, under the Act, every government servant is duty bound to deliver these services within the stipulated time period. If there is any delay in delivering of services beyond to prescribed period, citizen is entitled to seek compensation cost at Rs 10 per day per service maximum of Rs 200 from Competent Authority.
