"The two-week camp will be organised by Heritage and Kasiga schools in coordination with UNESCO Centre for peace in May next year," Executive Director of UNESCO centre for peace, Guy Djoken, told reporters here.
Eduserk America and World Genesis Foundation are the other two organising partners of the summer camp. The two schools have been chosen as the local partners of the event, he said, adding that representatives of all the partners are in India for preparations of the summer camp.
"Nearly 500 students aged between 15 and 20 years from over 25 countries - including the US, France, Russia, Mexico, Brazil and China - are expected to participate in the camp, the dates for which are yet to be finalised," said Vikrant Chaudhary, Director of Heritage School and Coordinator for the summer camp 2013.
The camp aims at providing young people from across the world the opportunity to learn and share their ideas and experiences in different activities and understand different perspectives to find friendship and peace.
The next summer camp would be organised in Russia in in 2015.
