Twenty five people suffered minor injuries during the traditional 'Hingot' war at Gautampura near here, police said today.
Those injured in the 'Hingot' fight last night were given first-aid by doctors on the spot and allowed to go home, they said.
'Hingot' is a wild fruit and after taking out its pulp, some gunpowder is filled in it and is thrown at the opponents after igniting it
The organisers claimed that this year the number of people injured were less than the previous years as better arrangements were made for traditional warriors and spectators.
The festival is organised every year on the next day of Diwali, as per the tradition, in which fighters from Gautampura and Runji villages of Indore hit each other with 'Hingot'.
