250 families join SAD

Around 250 families, owing allegiance to the Congress, joined the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) here today.
Welcoming them into the party fold, SAD youth wing head Bikram Singh Majithia said "the Akalis will embrace all those who want to join SAD against anti-people policies of the Congress."
The families said they had joined the SAD as they were feeling disenchanted in the Congress.
