The fair, organised by IDP education India, a leading student placement service provider, brought together prominent universities and educational institutions from Australia under one roof.
Students had the opportunity to have one to one interaction with representatives of 22 Australian educational institutions.
"It is a free platform for all students to gauge their prospects, apply directly to the institution of their choice and get first hand information on courses, scholarships," IDP Education Country Director-India, Piyush Kumar said.
"Australian education has always attracted Indian students for its quality and the availability of post study work opportunities make it even more attractive."
Kumar said that in addition to meeting the institutions, qualified students can also get application fee waivers and scholarships, ranging from a fee bursary to a 50 per cent scholarship of tuition fee for select students.
The fair kickstarted on August 21 at Kolkata and will conclude in Vijayawada on September 8, covering 14 cities.
