Shahbad achieved the highest production of 5.52 lakh quintal of sugar by crushing 57.37 lakh quintal of sugarcane, followed by cooperative sugarmill Rohtak with the production of 3.66 lakh quintal of sugar by crushing 45.50 lakh quintal of sugarcane, an official spokesperson said.
Similarly, cooperative sugarmill Karnal has so far produced 2.86 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 31.68 lakh quintal of sugarcane, Kaithal cooperative sugarmill produced 2.90 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 33.00 lakh quintals of sugarcane.
