28-day Hyderabad winter race session to commence from Nov 5

The 28-day Hyderabad Winter race session will commence from November 5 and conclude on February 26, 2018.
The session comprises 172 races, including nine major events, 13 Category I races, 79 Category II races and 71 Category III races, a Hyderabad Race Club (HRC) prospectus said here today.
The winter session consists of 14 Sundays, 11 Mondays, two Wednesdays and one Saturday.
A total of 39 trophies will be presented during the winter session and Rs 12,82,000 worth trophies were kept for the session, the release added.
Rs 12,58,94,429 stake money has been kept for the winter session.
The action of more than 25 trainers, including trainers A'pam Sharma, Deshmukh, D Netto, L D Silva, Laxman S, Prasad R, S Abbas, K R K Raju, S Narredu, K R K Raju and Sk Kassam and over 25 jockeys Akshay Kumar, Kuldeep S, A S Pawar, Suraj Narredu, Deep Shanker A Imran K, Kiran Naidu, Md Ismail, N Rawal will be seen during the winter race session.

Nine major events will be held during the 28-day race session. The major events are: Golconda 1000 Guneas, The Golconda 2000 Guneas, The Golconda Oaks, the Byerly Turk Million, The Darley Arabian Million, The Golconda Derby Stakes, The Kakatiya Million, the Goldphin Barb Million and The Alcock Arabian Million, it added.
