A 29-year-old tribal woman was killed on Sunday night by unidentified persons in Ganeshpuri area of Maharashtra's Thane district, police said.
Priti Bhavar was returning to her home in Mahalunge area at around 7:30pm when some people attacked and killed her, said Thane (Rural) Superintendent of Police Sanjay Patil.
He said a few suspects have been rounded up and their questioning was underway.
