3 arrested for killing friend

Three persons, including a woman, were arrested for allegedly killing their friend and looting his car, police said today.
"The accused took their friend Wasim (22), a resident of Loni area, to Firozabad on some pretext and killed him there for taking his car," police said.
"They disposed the body in a canal which was found four days later from a canal in Etawah area," they said.
"Three persons, including a woman, have been arrested yesterday and the car was retrieved. The women is wife of one of the male accused and has been nabbed for her involvement in the murder," they said.

Relatives of the deceased had blocked SH-57 in front of the police station on March 7 and pelted stones at several vehicles, the police said.
Wasim originally hailed from village Dotai in Garhmukteshwar and had been living at Rahul Vihar colony of Loni for last 15 years, they said, adding that he used to work as a Aluminium Fitting worker and had purchased a car few months back.
