Three persons were arrested today for allegedly murdering a senior lawyer in Hisar, police said.
Subhash Gupta's car was intercepted by three-four persons in Hisar last evening and subsequently they stabbed him to death.
The arrested persons have been identified as Pawan Bansal, resident of Rampura Mohalla in Hisar, Sunil, resident of Mahavir Colony and Naresh, resident of Morka, a spokesman of the State Police Department said.
He said during interrogation, it was found that most of the accused were employees of a gas agency owned by Pawan Kumar, the main accused in the incident, who is also a relative of the deceased and had some domestic dispute with him.
"Kumar has also a previous criminal record," the spokesman said.
He said the accused also revealed that Kuldeep, Vikas and Pawan alias Panda, all residents of Mahavir Colony in Hisar and Kunal, resident of Sanian Mohalla in Hisar, were also involved in the murder of Gupta.
The hunt is on to nab them, he added.
Police said they have seized a car and a motorcycle from the possession of the arrested persons.
