Mannelal, Vipin and Asharfi threw acid on 18-year-old girl last night when she was sleeping outside her house in the village, Additional SP, Ramji Yadav said here.
The girl sustained injuries in her hand and face and her condition was stated to be out of danger, he said.
Yadav said Asharfi was in love with the girl and when he came to know about the news of her marriage, he gave money to Vipin and Mannelal to throw acid on her.
